Sesame is an herb native to Africa and India (Sesamum indicum) which oilseeds are widely used in bakery and also in Eastern cuisine. The oil extracted from these seeds is also highly valued.

Formats • Black sesame: Black sesame seeds, clean and dried.
• White (Hulled) sesame: White sesame seeds, which shell (hull) has been removed, and thus the white color.
• Golden sesame: Golden sesame seeds owe their color to a roasting process on the hulled seeds.
