DILL

Dill (Anethum graveolens) is an annual herbaceous plant from the parsley family, native to Asia and the Mediterranean area. The stem is slender, ramified at the top and can be more than one meter tall. Leaves are alternate between broad and threadlike and greenish blue. The flowers, arranged in umbels, are yellow. Seeds are straight to slightly curved with a longitudinally ridged surface. It is widely used for seasoning fish dishes.
